Yoga Styles
and FAQ

We work with three different forms of yoga

Dynamic Hatha Yoga
- For those who need power and movement. One way to get "out of your head" is by getting "into your body". The dynamic hatha yoga challenges the body and ends with a relaxation that creates peace of mind. At the same time, the body is strengthened and is better prepared for the sedentary work.

Meditative Yoga - For those who feel exhausted and need peace and care. A gentle movement of all joints in the body, associated with the mind constantly being given a task that brings us into the present and provides peace of mind mentally, emotionally and physically. Here the focus is on centering and learning to rein in your thoughts.

Yin Yoga - For those who need to be well stretched and want to calm down. Our muscles and tendons become shortened when we sit a lot. We become stiff in our joints and and often strain up the neck, shoulders and back. At the same time, the stretches require a concentration that turns the energy inward and brings a deep calm within.

Practical Questions

  • It is best to place your camera on the side and as far away from your mat as possible
  • If we need to know something important, you can always let us know via the private chat function
  • With us you can only win if you are present in the moment sensing yourself - the journey is the goal!

Acute Q&A

Question:

Do I need to worry if I experience the following after or while doing yoga:

  • Depression or sadness
  • Thought Chaos
  • Shortness of breath
  • Pain
  • Unconscious emotional process
  • Dizziness
  • Diarrhea
  • Fatigue
  • Emotional lability
  • Anxiety

Answer:

When in doubt, always contact a doctor!

The symptoms are known transient effects of yoga. They arise because you work with yourself.

It often helps to drink a glass of cold water and rest. Try to get in touch with your breathing. Follow your breathing in and out of your body.

Anxiety sometimes occurs in silence. We may be afraid of the unknown or of something we do not want to face. Try to get in touch with your breathing. It's always with you.

One can expect a bit of muscle soreness, but meditative yoga should not result in any kind of permanent pain. Try to cool either punctually (where the pain is) or with general heat (ie over a larger area), such as. a warm bath to allow the body to heal again.
